With Children's Garden Campaign initiated by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services in 2019 to raise environmental awareness and instil nemophily in children under protection and care, 31 thousand saplings have been planted by children so far.
Targeting to raise awareness on the protection of trees and the environment in children under protection and care with the tree planting campaign called Children's Garden, the Ministry continues sapling planting all over Turkey.
Saplings selected in conformity with the climate and soil conditions of each province are planted by children. Children, who can personally take care of all the processes from grafting to pruning, also witness growth of a sapling by establishing closer contact with soil as such.
