Derya Yanık, the Minister of Family and Social Services, has shared the photos of her meeting with the young people on her social media account and has said, “Tomorrow, they will be assigned as lawyers, doctors and engineers. We are proud of all of them, and you can be so as well.”
780 children under protection and care in institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services have participated in 2021 YKS (University Entrance Exam).
Two of them prepared to become university students has succeeded in entering the top 10.000 in the verbal field. Three of them in the numerical field, six in the verbal field, and two in the equally weighted field have taken place in the top 100.000. In addition, four of them have exceeded the language score threshold of 300.
Derya Yanık has hosted the young people who are successful in YKS at the Ministry and wished them continued success.
Sharing the photos with young people on her social media account, Yanık has said, “Our young people who grow up in our institutions get into the university. We have come together with our young people having success in YKS before making their preferences. Tomorrow, they will be assigned as lawyers, doctors and engineers. We are proud of all of them, and you can be so as well.”
