Question 1 : What is the care service?
The care service expresses the personal care and psycho-social support services of people with disabilities who need care during the process of maintaining their daily life. Our primary goal is for people with disabilities to be able to live their lives without breaking away from the family environment in which they get love and attention. If this is not possible, institutional care services are offered for people with disabilities.
Question 2 : What are the care services offered to people with disabilities?
A) Official Boarding Care and Rehabilitation Centers/Unhindered Living Centers
Individuals with disabilities who are cannot fulfill the repeated needs of daily life due to their physical, mental, and mental disabilities can receive free care from these centers regardless of whether they have any income or not. In addition to the care services, rehabilitation services are offered in Boarding Care and Rehabilitation Centers. To receive care services from official Boarding Care and Rehabilitation Centers, a health board report is required for disabled people with disabilities who will receive services. To receive care services from Boarding Care and Rehabilitation Centers, the application can be made to the Provincial Directorates of Family, Labor and Social Services, Social Service Centers, or directly to Boarding Care and Rehabilitation Centers.
1) Houses of Hope:
To ensure the participation of disabled people receiving care services in our official care centers, they are additional units opened to service in detached houses or apartments of disabled individuals with a capacity of up to 6. Following the positive report of the professional staff of those with disabilities who are receiving care services in official care centers, it is aimed to ensure their active participation in public life and to perform their care in the houses called "Hope House", which is the additional unit of the centers.
2) Day Care Centers:
It is a day-to-day service model offered to disabled individuals full or part-time to ensure that family members caring for their disabilities have time to join them during the day and to participate in social life and to provide care for disabled individuals without being plucked from their surroundings alongside their families. Education, social, cultural, and sporting activities are carried out in the day-to-day service centers to meet the self-care needs of the disabled individual as well as to ensure their participation in social life. To receive care services from the daycare center, a disability health board report is required for the disabled person who will receive the service. To receive care services from daycare centers, the application can be made to the Provincial Directorates of Family, Labor and Social Services, Social Service Centers, or directly to Day Care Centers.
3) Temporary Guest Care Service
It is a temporary care model offered in our existing boarding institutions for individuals with disabilities, especially families of disabled people receiving home care support if all disabled families will be temporarily separated from disabled individuals for various reasons such as pilgrimage, umrah, and health during the year. Following the petition of the disabled person or his legal representative, disability health board report, service contract, and evaluation report of a professional employee, the disabled individual is placed in the official care center affiliated with our Ministry within the scope of 'Temporary and guest care service'. To benefit from temporary guest care, the application can be made to the Provincial Directorates of Family, Labor and Social Services, Social Service Centers, or directly to the Official Care and Rehabilitation Centers located in that province.
B) Special Care Centers
It is also possible for people with disabilities who need the care to receive care services in special care centers opened by real persons or private legal entities and supervised by our provincial directorates. To receive care services from Special Care Centers, the disability health board report of the disabled person who will receive the service must say 'severely disabled' or 'fully dependent disabled individual'. To receive care services from Special Care Centers, the application can be made to the Provincial Directorates of Family, Labor and Social Services, Social Service Centers, or directly to Special Care Centers.
Question 3 : Who can receive services from private care centers with the status of "Disabled Paid by the Ministry"?
Individuals with disabilities who are stated to be "fully dependent disabled individuals" in the disability health board report from private care centers and whose average monthly income per household is less than 2/3 (1,219.35 TL) of the monthly net amount of the min wage can be served as "Disabled, whose fee is paid by the Ministry", based on the sum of all kinds of income. In this status, all expenses (maintenance fee payment, allowance, clothing assistance) of disabled persons placed in the center are covered by our Ministry.
Question 4 : What are the documents required for placement in the official care center?
A) Health board report for people with disabilities.
B) The decision to take protection from the relevant courts for disabled people who have not reached the age of eighteen and to be placed in a care center, which will be placed in a care and rehabilitation center for boarding and on-the-ground care, and the decision to take custody and appoint guardians if not under custody.
C) The decision to restrict the disabled person who has reached the age of eighteen and is not under custody and appoint a guardian if he is not under custody due to mental illness or mental weakness, who must be restricted due to the reasons that he/she is required to continue to be protected and cared for or to endanger the safety of others.
Question 5 : In what cases is the disabled person cut off from the care centers?
If the following situations occur, the disabled person is cut off from the center. a.If the disabled person is of age and authorized, request by herself or her legal representative
b. The death of the disabled person,
c. Determination that there is a mistake in the information and documents based on the acceptance of the disabled person or the inability of the disabled person to adapt to the center despite all professional studies,
d. If the disabled person receives care in the private care center, there will be a change in the disability and income situation after admission to the center and it is determined that the latest situation is not suitable for placement in the special care center,
e. The disabled leave the center without permission for more than 30 days.
