Within the framework of active and healthy aging vision and policy objectives of the General Directorate of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Digital and Financial Literacy Trainings for the Elderly were started. Training Preparation Studies Completed

Increasing the financial and digital literacy of our elderly people is one of the issues that the Ministry of Family and Social Services General Directorate of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly attaches importance to. For this purpose, studies were carried out to measure mobile phone, computer usage, digital and financial literacy information in general, with a questionnaire prepared by reaching our elderly people in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, Malatya, Samsun and Gaziantep in February 2021.

20.12.2021 for our 30 elderly people who receive service from 5 nursing homes (Sultangazi Nursing Home, Zeytinburnu Semiha Şakir Nursing Home, Beylikdüzü Nursing Home and YBRM, Prf Dr. Fahrettin Kerim Nilüfer Gökay Nursing Home and YBRM, Bahçelievler Nursing Home and YBRM) in Istanbul, which was selected as the first pilot province as a result of the studies. Digital and Financial Literacy Training was given.
