The Ministry of Family and Social Services has prepared a “Services Application Guide” for citizens to access social services and social assistance quickly and accurately. The guidebook describes the application processes and activities carried out in many areas ranging from family and community services to children's services, from social assistance to services for persons with disabilities and older persons.
The Ministry of Family and Social Services continues to implement its protective and preventive programs for citizens requiring special policies, especially women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons, and relatives of martyrs, veterans in a participatory, fair, supply-oriented and effective manner.
The Ministry has prepared a “Services Application Guide” that includes all services so that citizens can access social services and social assistance quickly and accurately.
In the guide, the application processes and activities carried out in many areas ranging from family and community services to children's services, from social assistance to services for persons with disabilities and older persons are comprehensively explained in a way to meet the information needs of citizens, including the scope of services, application principles, persons who can benefit from the service, application units, and documents required for application.
Services are described with titles
The Ministry's study includes 11 titles: “Family and Community Strengthening Services”, “Child Services”, “Services for the Protection of the Status of Women”, “Services for Persons with Disabilities”, “Services for the Elderly”, “Services for Relatives of Martyrs, Veterans and Relatives of Veterans”, “Social Assistance”, “ Foreign Services”, “Call Centers”, “Donations and Aid to the Ministry” and “Services Performed in Institutions”.
The Ministry, which develops social policies and social services for families by taking into account the changing needs for a peaceful and strong country, has included its family education program, family counseling service, support for young people getting married, psychosocial support service in disasters and emergencies, and activities carried out in the fight against addiction in the guide.
Services are diversified according to needs
The Ministry, which diversifies services for children according to different needs by carrying out services for children with a family-oriented approach, has included information on family-oriented child services, protection and care services, day care services, protective and preventive services, employment of young people raised under protection and other services for children in the guide.
In the guide prepared by the Ministry, counseling, guidance, orientation and monitoring services for women who have been subjected to violence or are in danger of being subjected to violence, services for the protection and empowerment of women who have been subjected to violence, and services to increase women's participation in economic and social life can also be accessed.
Under the heading of services for persons with disabilities and older persons, the guidebook describes care and other services for persons with disabilities and older persons, and includes family assistance, accomodation-food assistance, assistance for persons with disabilities and older persons, health assistance, education assistance and project support.
The guide, which also includes the activities carried out for the martyrs, relatives of martyrs, veterans and relatives of veterans, answers many questions about employment, transportation free of charge and the naming of martyrs.
On the other hand, the Ministry provides information and consultancy services on how to make donations and aids, how to solve the problems of citizens living abroad, and international social service case studies.
