The Ministry of Family and Social Services has redesigned its website and launched the “Accessibility Menu” to make it easier for citizens with disabilities to access social services and social assistance.

Extensive studies are underway by the Ministry to expand accessibility in Türkiye. In this context, new features have been added to the ministry's website, aile.gov.tr, with the mission “accessibility is for all”, to ensure that anyone can access and use any service, wherever and whenever they need it, independently and safely.

The “Accessibility Menu” has been made available to make it easier for citizens with disabilities to access the content of the ministry's website and to access the protective and preventive programs it provides for citizens requiring special policies, especially women, children, persons with disabilities, older persons and relatives of martyrs, veterans and relatives of veterans.

The “Accessibility Menu”, which includes “screen reader, selected area reader, link highlighting, large text, dyslexia-friendly, contrast color adjustment” features, enables citizens to access the social services and social aids needed through the work carried out by the Ministry more easily and quickly from their computers and mobile phones.
